Role Overview: As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that engage and challenge students in this critical stage of their education. You will create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where every student feels valued, motivated, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that align with the Year 5 curriculum and educational objectives.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs, interests, and abilities of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, resilience, and a growth mindset.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted interventions to support individual learning goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support student well-being and achievement.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of teaching and learning practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 5.
- A comprehensive understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
- Dedication to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
