Reception Teacher
Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a difference in a vibrant rural village school? We are thrilled to be working with a primary school who is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their team.
Position: Reception Teacher
Location: Ticehurst
Hours: Full-time (potentially could be part-time 0.6)
Salary: £110 - £150 per day
Responsibilities:
- Implement creative and age-appropriate lesson plans in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Establish clear expectations for behaviour and learning, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Promote a stimulating and supportive learning environment where children are encouraged to achieve their full potential, fostering a love for learning.
- Foster independence and critical thinking skills through adapted tasks and activities.
- Share a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with other staff, teaching assistants, and support professionals to share ideas and resources.
Requirements:
- Someone who is passionate about early childhood education.
- Experience teaching Early Years or KS1 children in UK classrooms is preferred.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
- A positive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
