About the school:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of History to join the schools' dynamic and highly successful Humanities Faculties on a full time and permanent basis. This post would be equally suitable for ECTs and teachers with more experience.
The successful candidate will be able to work successfully with students across the Key Stages. They will be expected to make a contribution to the extra-curricular life of the school and be prepared to be a creative and inventive member of the Faculty team, and demonstrate leadership skills developed to date.
About the role:
You will be teaching History to key stages 3 and 4.
To be successful for this role, you will:
- Be passionate about the subject and the ongoing development of children.
- Deliver engaging history lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Foster a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize varied teaching methods to promote understanding and engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Be able to enthuse, engage and motivate students to raise standards to achieve at all levels.
