Maths Techer for a Secondary SEMH provision
We are currently looking for a passionate and supportive Maths Teacher to joing an all boys secondary SEMH school in Colchester. This is a full time role starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Use innovative and effective teaching strategies to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematics.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages student participation.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and staff meetings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the maths curriculum.
- Uphold the school's values and policies, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching maths at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
