Job Duties:

  • Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote children's development
  • Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children
  • Support children with personal care routines, such as feeding and changing

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
  • Valid DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education

Experience:

Prior experience working in a nursery or childcare setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development and learning through play
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
