There is a high demand for General classroom cover in the Newcastle and north Tyneside area.

This role involves covering a range of lessons and interacting with students across KS 3 and 4. You may also have the opportunity to cover lessons which you feel you can provide academic support in.

Your main responsibility is to oversee classroom productivity and behaviour. You would not be expected to plan lessons or mark work. You are responsible for delivering preset work.

This role can be full-time, part-time or flexible. We do not require you to have any prior experience as we will give you the opportunity to complete a training day within one of our partnership schools. This day will involve shadowing an experienced member of staff and will give you the necessary skills to be successful within this role.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is happy to apply for a DBS.
  • Is passionate about teaching and learning.
  • Is confident in front of large groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
