Science Teacher
Currently looking to recruit a Science Teacher to work within a Secondary SEN Provision. The role is to start ASAP and woud be a long term role 5 days a week.
Must be a confident and resilient individuals with previous experience of Teaching KS3 and KS4 Science.
About the role:

Deliver engaging Science lessons. (the school is flexible with specialisms - Physics/ Biology/ Chemistry)

Successfully manage the behaviour of the class following the school’s behaviour policy.
- Practical and Theory Teaching Required

Foster positive relationships with students by being a role model and ensure students achieve their full potential.
- Attendance at parents evenings and meetings required
-
Work collaboratively with the Head of Department and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of the school day and that students achieve the best outcomes.

Act as an ambassador for Protocol Education by being punctual and professional at all times.
You should apply for this role if you:

Live local to Teesside or within commutable distance

Hold QTS within the UK with a Science / Physics/ Biology/ Chemistry Specialism

Have strong subject knowledge and are confident at delivering Science lessons at all levels.

Have previous experience of delivering the UK Science cirriculum

Are an excellent communicator and have a natural ability to work and build positive rapport with young people.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service
- Can provide professional references covering 2 years of recent employment history

Have the ability to work collaboratively as well as taking ownership of your own workload

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
