Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: East of England, Essex, Southend-on-Sea
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £12.90 - £15.00 Per hour

Job Duties:
- Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
- Follow the lesson plans provided by the absent teacher
- Assist students with their work and provide support as needed
- Maintain records of student attendance and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
Education:
A Level qualifications or equivalent
Experience:
Prior experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of classroom management techniques
- Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans
- Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Working hours may vary depending on school schedules
- May require standing for extended periods
- Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
